Obituary for Ken Eibbitt

Ken Eibbitt
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving children at the McNally House Hospice, Grimsby, on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the age of 72. Dearly loved father of Darron Leiren-Young (Matthew Chipera), and Ian Eibbitt (Carrie). Proud grandfather of grandson Taylor and granddaughter Brooke. Predeceased by his wife Marian and parents Betty and Ken Eibbitt. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by Mark Leiren-Young and his many coffee and pub buddies. Ken proudly retired from 41 years of service with Air Canada as a Manager of Operations. A loving father, grandfather and friend, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Following his wishes, there will be no visitation or service and cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, Grimsby, 905-945-2755).
