Vivian Alys Dalzell passed away peacefully Friday, April 26, 2019 at Burloak Long Term Care at the age of 93. Preceded by her parents Ethel Alys Kennedy and John Bono Kennedy and her husband of 52 years, Alexander Colin Dalzell. An intelligent, driven business woman, Vivian worked for IBM for 27 years and retired as a Senior Specialist in Contract Services. After retirement Viv worked as a consultant for Beauty Counselors of Canada and as a fashion demonstrator for Silhouette Imports. Vivian and Colin were travel trailblazers and spent much of their free time exploring the world together. Vivian will be missed by her beloved friends, Darlene & Michael MacLean and Dianne & Tara Kroes. A special thank you for the amazing care that Vivian received at Burloak Long Term Care. The genuine love, care and compassion of the staff made them feel like angels.
Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, May 1st from 3-5 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Joseph Brant Hospital.
