CHARLTON, Oliver William
Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the age of 92. He was surrounded by his family and in the hearts of those who could not be present. Beloved husband and best friend of Audrey for more than 70 years. Cherished father of Chris Charlton (Doreen), Val Gillespie (Bruce) and Jan Charlton. Proud grandfather of Amanda, Chris and Matthew as well as great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Roy. Oliver will be greatly missed by his sister Doreen Craven (David) as well as many extended family members and friends. In keeping with Oliver’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 1 p.m. followed by reception. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to The Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
