STAINER, Thomas John aka Pappy
December 8, 1953 - June 1, 2019
"Your life is your message to the world." Tom's message was to live, love, ride, jam & fish. Tom's love of Harley riding, drumming & fishing was well known. Tom was a well known drummer in the local music scene and spent many years hosting the Saturday Night Jam. "Pappy" spent many summers on Rice Lake with family and endless hours searching for "Walter the walleye" at Muskie Bay with his grandchildren. Tom definitely had a unique sense of humour and wit. He had recently retired as a truck driver, a career he thoroughly enjoyed. He also discovered a love for traveling to Mexico, he had just spent the best winter this past year enjoying both coasts with his wife and best friend Allison. Survived by his wife Allison, his step children Jeff and Jill (Brad). The grandchildren he adored Alexis, Colton, Ryder, Jamie and Magnolia. He will be greatly missed by his mother in law Marie Stenekes. Tom was predecased by his parents Cyril and Annie Stainer, his sister Nancy Murphy and his father in law Henry Stenekes. As per Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be announced at a later date. "Keep the shiny side up Pappy, until we jam again".
