Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Thaddeaus Dobroski in 1982 and her dear grandsons Michael and Jordan. Loving mother of Larry Dobroski (Donna), Linda Isard (Mark) and Ted Dobroski (Donna). Cherished grandmother of Greg (Sandy), Dana (Michael), David, Tanya (Mike) and Liz. Great grandmother of Jake, Jojo, JT, Paige and Abigail.
Stella was a long-time and successful business owner of Bowlero Bowling Center in Hamilton and a member of the Catholic Women’s League for many years. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital as well as Billings Court Manor for their compassion and care.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. with a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A Reception will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
