Obituary for Rose Eveline Gowan (Parker)
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Wyndham Manor, Oakville at the age of 86. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Gord (2015). Loving mother of Nancy, Janice (Jim) and Rick (Deb), and step-children Murray (Catherine), Wayne (Patricia), Gerald (Evelyn) and Dennis (Karen). Proud grandmother of Tracy, Tara, Kandise, Lance, Terry, Tommy, Shilo, Melissa, Sean, Ryan, Heather, Michael, Leonard, Christopher and Steven and extended families. Honored great-grandmother of many. Rose will be sadly missed by her siblings Marlyn and John, predeceased by siblings Isabel, Alison, June, Lorraine and Charles “Chuck”.
A private celebration of Rose’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of the flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers and staff at Wyndham Manor for their kindness and compassion over the years.
