Passed away peacefully at Heritage Green Nursing Home on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lorne (2000). Loving mother of Philip West, Ron West, Diane Knechtel (Don) and Shelley Wall (Wayne). Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Karri), Amy, Leanne (Aidan), Andrea, Brian, Brianna (Josh), Brian (John) and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Brendan, Lily, James, Zack, Leo and Addison. Predeceased by her sisters Ann Greenwald (Ken) and Ella Marie Mitchell. Jeannette was a dedicated public school secretary at Winona Public School for many years who was much loved by students, teachers and colleagues. She also served wholeheartedly along side her husband in their church ministry. Private family interment to take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12 noon at the Funeral Home.
