Such a warm, friendly, and funny man. I always looked forward to chats with him when he came to cheer on his grandkids at their track meets. He made the world brighter and will be missed. Love and hugs to the whole family.

My best wishes to the family, and so long to our tennis pal. Hugh is the kind of guy you want to know, always positive with lots of stories. My fav is from his early days in Canada when he figured there must be many many strawberry farms here because of all the large trucks with the strawberry symbol on them. Only later did he realize they were Canadian Tire trucks!
Kwaheri Hugh.

Hugh was an amazing, godly man! He was a wonderful spiritual mentor and teacher to me and to so many others. Although I’m sad that he has left this earthly realm, I can’t help but smile at the rejoicing happening in heaven right now. Well done, good and faithful servant. Well done!

I will miss Hugh for his abundant faith, wonderful stories and great sense of humour. I will always treasure the insights which I gained through his leadership during our Wednesday Bible studies over several years. He was Avery special friend. Colton
