LANGHOUT, Hendrika “Corrie”
Peacefully surrounded by her family, at 88 years of age, on September 11, 2019. 4Corrie was an energetic lady who was a wonderful mother to 6 children and taught them how to be hardworking and independent. Mom enjoyed travelling, camping, gardening and knitting. Her dog Toby, brought her great joy. She was a mom to Dia (Wayne), Mary (Tim), Ingrid (Tim), Stephen (Elaine). Grandma/Oma/Baba to Shawn, Jeffrey, Bryan, John, Janice, Kyle, Logan, Sarah, and Justin. Great-Grandma to Makayla, Chase, Austin, Vera, Roman and Talon. Her predeceased son Cornelius, daughter Bea, and grandson Kenny, will be happy to receive her hugs as they meet again. Mom leaves behind extended family in The Netherlands who will also miss her. Our family would like to thank Dr. Madhi, the staff at Juravinski Hospital, and at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their dedication and loving care. There will be no funeral service as per Mom’s wishes. Private Cremation has taken place. The family welcomes donations to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice (277 Stonechurch Rd. East, Hamilton ON L9B 1B1).
