It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Eric Leo James Wheeler on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the age of 31. A beautiful soul, loving father and devoted husband. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and laugh that will be missed and loved forever. Eric will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mateja and their precious children, Emma and Leo, his father Fred, her parents Suzana and Mato, and his sisters and brothers, Amanda (Robert), Christine, and Sandro (Melanie). Eric was predeceased by his mom Patricia and sister Tara (Enzo). Eric will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. No visitation will be held. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial trust fund has been set up for the children through the TD Bank. For those wishing to contribute the bank information will be available through the funeral home or at the church the day of the mass.
