Passed away peacefully at The Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Wolkowski and her siblings Genowefa, Celina, Jan, Ignacy, Teresa and Bronislawa. Cherished aunt of Yola Byron (Mike), John Stefanski (Toni), Christine Spiliopoulos (John), Zbigniew Bajor, Mark Bajor (Nicole), Diane Pona (Andy) and Joanna Miazga (Janusz). Mary was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and will leave behind many treasured memories. She will be fondly missed by her extended family in Poland and by her friends and members of the Polish Senior’s Club in Burlington. We wish to extend many thanks and appreciation to the staff at Tansley Woods for their care.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9. Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Wednesday, May 1 at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
