Obituary for Jonathan Michael Delvecchio

DELVECCHIO, Jonathan Michael

Passed away on Saturday April 20th, 2019 after a long and hard fought battle with mental illness and the debilitating effect that it had both on his mind and his body. Jonathan was an IT professional who worked in both the public and private sectors and accumulated a broad spectrum of experience prior to his illness. He enjoyed attending music festivals, producing music and riding his motorcycle. Weight lifting was always on his agenda. Jonathan loved the outdoors. Camping, hiking, cycling, and taking walks with his family were his favourite activities. To all who knew him, Jonathan was a quiet, soft-spoken, kind, generous and compassionate man who was always prepared to lend a helping hand.

Jonathan was the beloved husband of Natalia Delvecchio, loving father of Sofia and Marko Delvecchio, devoted son of Olga Delvecchio and the Late Glen Delvecchio, dear brother of Analisa and Anthony, and son-in-law of Ivan and Halyna Kavchuk. He will be missed by his many extended family members and friends. Most of all, he will be sadly missed by his children who looked forward to their daily walks with him, their family playtime activities together, and his tutoring in French.
