Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Nora Forsey. Loving father of Leigh Ann. Dear son of Edgar and May Forsey (both predeceased). Loving brother of Coy Schmidt (late Jack), Reta Rowland predeceased (late Edgar), Jean Ball predeceased (late Mervin), and Helen Forsey predeceased. On April 18, John and Nora reached a milestone and were blessed to be able to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary. John worked at INCO for 35 years and in those years, made wonderful friends whom he cherished. Together they enjoyed many golf tournaments and curling bonspiels. John loved to work in his yard and it was always his pride and joy. Often people would walk by the house and comment on how lovely and pristine the yard was. He always took the time to enjoy a chat and more than a few friendships developed that way. John was loving and kind and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. There will be a celebration of John's life on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Art Gallery of Burlington, 1333 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington, ON.

In lieu of flowers, and for those who wish, donations can be made in memory of John to the Alzheimer Society and would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
