Ewart was a brilliant mind, free spirit and lover of all sports. He was an avid golfer, and appreciated a competitive game of draft or hearts amongst friends and family. Ewart also enjoyed his hobby of handicapping horse races. He was very passionate about his grandkid’s activities, and was often found in the stands or on the sidelines cheering them on. Special thank you to the doctors, nurse and staff in the ICU Stroke Unit and 2B at Brantford General Hospital and Joseph Brant Hospital Palliative Care Team for the excellent care provided. The family also wishes to extend thanks to Dr. Harpal Singh and the staff of the North Burlington Medical Center for their many years of care and kindness. As per Ewart’s wishes, private cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at a later date for immediately family at Burlington Memorial Gardens.
