It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the age of 94 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Postella) for 67 years. Deeply loved father to Vito and Angela Sgro and Victor and Dawn Sgro. Cherished nonno to Anthony, Daniel and Adrian Sgro. Devoted son and son-in-law of the late Vito and Maria Antonia Sgro and the late Vittorio and Michelina Postella. Antonio will be sadly missed by his large extended family and friends. He was an employee of Dofasco for thirty years and built many homes in Stoney Creek and surrounding area. Antonio’s passion was spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid gardener and wine-maker.
